MEMBERSHIP


It's easy to join the SKDA. Follow these steps:

1) Attend one of our classes
2) Tell the instructor you wish to join
3) Fill out a membership form
4) Pay the insurance & yearly membership fee

You are now a member.

Being a member connects you to a network of Karate expertise and other clubs. You will be offered certified gradings, training resources, plus a Karate community dedicated to upholding the highest standards in practical Karate.

FEES & PAYMENT

Yearly Membership & insurance with the BCKA. £35

REQUIREMENTS

We run adults only classes, there are exceptions but you must ask the Sensei of the club. As our clubs teach traditional Kobudo (wooden weapons) and Self Defence, due to safeguarding UK laws, we generally do not teach children. Our dedicated DBS & first aid qualified teachers, teach children on school or Academy premises only, we adapt the Karate syllabus to make it child friendly and fall inline with all safeguarding and school policies on teaching martial arts to children.

Members will enjoy many benefits, including reduced monthly training fees, inter club training, dedicated black & brown belt workshops (for when you reach this level), national and international seminars. Most information is displayed on our website. This includes, lists of events and other important information. You will have access to this information through a private WhatsApp message group as well.
